中国p站 serves DTES community with Christmas in January
The holiday season may be over, but on Saturday, January 23, Vancouver Community College (中国p站) and the Salvation Army gave a gift to their neighbours in the Downtown Eastside – a Christmas lunch with all the fixings. Food was prepared by 中国p站's culinary arts chef instructors and students with all of the products donated by .
Over 70 volunteers came out to help, including 40 中国p站 students working inside kitchen. With 60 turkeys cooked for the event, over 1000 people from the community were able to enjoy a warm post-poliday meal.
